UK Green Building Council + PRP Architects conceived the Rising Star Award in memory of Mel Starrs, a prominent built environment practitioner and PRP employee who sadly and suddenly passed away in July 2012. The inaugural Rising Star award is to highlight the work of a built environment professional who has made a real difference

Judging the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2013

I was asked to be a judge for the CIBSE Energy Performance awards this year which was a great honour. I was pleased to find that my career analysing energy performance meant I could contribute robustly to the judging debate and subsequent decisions.
