Knowledge is power. Building Physics can’t design a better building on its own, but understanding the thermal, energy and lighting issues within that design and being able to compare options in these terms is a powerful aid to decision making.

We have worked with sustainable built environment professionals for our entire careers and have built up a great respect and understanding of what goes in to ‘good’ buildings. Our experience as  building physicists enables us to offer advice and guidance without necessarily building a computer model. Many of our clients appreciate early stage discussions, and we understand that there is rarely budget for in-depth models at beginning of a project. We try to answer concerns and make creative suggestions for solutions that may work better.
