Acting on our values

We believe in practicing what we preach and commit our time and skills to various causes and organisations where we feel we can make a difference.

ACTIVISM

#EndGasNow

Along with many other leading organisations Inkling signed the #EndGasNow pledge in 2022. As it says on the website: “In 2019 we declared a climate emergency. Now it’s time to act like it.” Inkling will now be asking clients whether projects propose the installation of new gas or fossil fuel heating systems before we provide a quote. See our blog post about this here.

Building Services Declare

We also signatories of Building Services Engineers Declare
For everyone working in the construction industry, meeting the needs of our society without breaching the earth’s ecological boundaries will demand a paradigm shift in our behaviour. Together with our clients, we will need to commission, design and maintain buildings, cities and infrastructures as indivisible components of a larger, constantly regenerating and self-sustaining system in balance with the natural world.
